Introduction

This online exhibition is a gathering place for collections of artists' books from the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library (AAEL) Special Collections. The artists' books exhibitions are created to provide users with alternative ways to experience the artists' books collection as well as to showcase the variety and depth of the materials.

You are welcome to browse the artists' books in the AAEL Special Collections through the online database.

The artist books are a non-circulating collection. Researchers and University of Michigan community members are invited to view the collection by making an appointment with Jamie Vander Broek, Art & Design Librarian.

The online exhibitions are created and maintained by the University Library Associates at the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library.
