Stephanie Copoulos-Selle

Stephanie Copoulos-Selle was an artist in residence at the Women's Studio Workshop in 2008. While there, she created LAP: Loretta's Acronym Primer. The book is a look at how acronyms exist in the world. Copoulos-Selle took acronyms from business, medicine, and government and re-created them with personal vocabulary that stresses the importance of the individual.

Copoulos-Selle is on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha. She got her MFA from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
