Adam Wills Begley is currently pursuing a Master of Music in choral conducting at the University of Michigan, where he studies with Jerry Blackstone. He earned a B.A. in Music with distinction at Yale University, where he served as the undergraduate conductor of the Yale Glee Club and musical director of the vocal jazz group Redhot & Blue.
Noah Horn holds degrees in choral conducting and organ performance from Yale University and Oberlin College. He hails from Davenport, Iowa, and has served on the faculty of Western Michigan University and Wesleyan University. He relishes opportunities to add organum wherever possible in music.
Austin Stewart is pursuing a Ph.D. in Historical Musicology at the University of Michigan. He studied voice at U of M, and conducting at the University of Texas at Austin. He has sung with the Schola of Christ Church Grosse Pointe, the University of Michigan Chamber Choir, and is a member of the International Bach Academy Stuttgart.
Glenn Miller sings and records regularly with the chamber choir Conspirare, and performs with the Clarion Music Society (NYC), the Choir of Men and Boys of St Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, the Oregon Bach Festival, the Yale Choral Artists, Vox Early Music Ensemble (Ann Arbor) and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale. He was also a member of the Robert Shaw Festival Singers and has performed and recorded with the Choir of St Paul's Cathedral, London. Presently he is Director of Music and Organist of Kirk in the Hills, Bloomfield Hills MI.
Matthew Abernathy is pursuing a Master of Music in choral conducting at the University of Michigan, where he studies with Jerry Blackstone. He received his bachelor’s degree in music theory and history from the State University of New York at Potsdam. He has been a conducting apprentice at the Berkshire Choral Festival, and has performed with Syracuse Opera.
Dr. Stefano Mengozzi is Associate Professor of Musicology at the University of Michigan. He specializes in music from the late Middle Ages to circa 1600, and has published several studies on music theory and pedagogy from that period. As a young boy he grew up singing in the cappella choir of the Basilica of San Petronio in Bologna, and studied lute in Verona.
