Description
Depiction of George H. W. Bush in mosaic tile on the lobby floor of the landmark Al Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad, reportedly designed and created by two artists following a US missile strike in January 1993.
The image is accompanied by text in Arabic and English: "BUSH IS CRIMINAL المجرم جورج بوش"
A rumor attributing this work to the Iraqi artist Laylá al-ʻAṭṭār (1944-1993) circulated widely after her death in a subsequent US missile strike.
