Astronomical Table
3rd Century AD
Egypt

P.Mich.inv 924

Another example of the Greek number system, this astronomical table most likely records the movement of a celestial object over the course of a month. It consists of several series of two columns each; the left column contains the position (in terms of degrees and minutes) while the right column holds the day of the month (from one to thirty).
