As an informationist, I provide expert guidance to health sciences students, researchers, instructors and clinicians in finding and organizing information. I work most closely with the Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy, and the Otolaryngology and Dermatology Departments. My areas of professional interest include literature synthesis methodology (such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and scoping reviews), advanced searching of the health sciences literature, and citation management. 

I hold a master's in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BA with honors from Stanford University. Before joining the University of Michigan, I spent 4 years as an academic librarian in Cairo, Egypt.
