Janet Rauch and Deborah McCormick were founding mothers of the weekly women's music program "Face the Music" on public station WFBE-FM in Flint. Married when it began in 1980, Rauch came out as lesbian during its 17-year run. The show was forced off the air when the station was sold in 1997.
