                <text>When Better Angel was reissued by the publisher Alyson in 1987, 86-year-old Forman Brown, a University of Michigan alumni, came forward as the author. After graduation, he and his cousin Harry Burnett joined with Roddy Brandon to form the Yale Puppeteers. Brown died two days after his 95th birthday in 1996.</text>
