Scott Dennis and Jeff Schunk, along with Mark Paron, formed the core of Ann Arbor's first organization for gay high school students. Initially overseen by Jim Toy and Jim Martin, the group attracted few young women. GYG evolved into the LGBT youth group that went on to meet at the Ozone House.
