Stevenson, as executive director of Affirmations Community Center and co-publisher of Between The Lines; and Covey, as executive director of the Michigan Organization for Human Rights and president of the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project, have been considered to be two of the most dynamic leaders in Michigan's LGBT communities.
