Two weeks before the Stonewall riots that would spark unprecedented gay and lesbian activism, gays from group, ONE in Detroit, held an outing at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio in 1969. Founded in 1965, ONE in Detroit was the only Michigan homosexual organization to bridge pre- and post-Stonewall activism.
