This week in the Shapiro Lobby we are featuring the exhibit "Humanize the Numbers" designed by LSA students in the course RC Arts 385 as part of the Prison Creative Arts Project. We will also be hosting our first ever student facilitated workshop on the hazards and benefits of social media as well as donation bins for Smashathon, the Quito Project, and Textbooks for Change.
This week in the Shapiro Lobby we are featuring the exhibit “Changing the Story: Our Roles in Stopping the Spread of Fake News” designed by Learning Programs & Initiatives and the Peer Information Counseling Program (PIC). We will also be hosting the last week of the book display “Women’s Stories” as well as information tables for Beyond the Diag, Power Notes, Phi Delta Chi, and March of Dimes.
This week in the Shapiro Lobby we are featuring the exhibit "What We Carried: A Glimpse into the Refugee Crisis" designed by the student organization Michigan Refugee Assistance Program in partnership with the Library Mini-Grant Program. We will also be hosting a poetry open reading event as well as information tables for the Library Student Engagement Ambassadors.
