On display in the Shapiro Lobby this week, we have a digital exhibit from the Michigan Journal of Sustainability (MJS) titled, "Seeing Sustainability: Photos Essays, 2014-2016" that is paired with an event on Wednesday, 9/21 from 3-4pm in the Shapiro Lobby. We will also have an information table from Changing Health, Attitudes, and Actions to Recreate Girls, CHAARG on Monday, 9/19 from 10am-2pm.

This week on the Shapiro Lobby screens, we have a digital exhibit, "Layered Places: Artists' Books by Kyoko Matsunaga", created by Maggie Johnson that was created as part of the Michigan Library Scholars Program during the summer of 2016. Maggie researched Japanese book artist Kyoko Matsunaga and created a digital exhibit of her work in our library's collection. We also have tables from Dream Corps, Brightspot, and the American Advertising Federation - UM Chapter.

Happy Labor Day and first week of classes! We welcome you back with a Library Welcome Week exhibit featuring informative slides about library, technology, community, transportation, health, and tutoring resources on campus. Additionally, Information and Technical Services (ITS) will be holding Get Connected pop-up table in the lobby from 10am-3pm, Tuesday-Friday. Bring your devices by for assistance.

This week we are showcasing work from the Michigan Library Scholar, Sheila Chan, who created the "Cultural Competence" Library Research Guide in collaboration with mentors, Scott Dennis and Alexa Pearce. The exhibit in the Shapiro Lobby showcases information featured from Sheila's "Cultural Competence" Library Research Guide.

Bert’s Study Lounge is located inside of the Shapiro Undergraduate Library (UGLi) and is one of the most popular spots inside the library. The Lounge contains multiple digital displays and is a destination for library and campus events, student orientations, collaboration and of course, studying.
