We have two new book displays in the 2nd floor lobby area of the Duderstadt Center. The first exhibit commemorates Black History Month, which is being celebrated all over campus this month. It showcases moments related to African American art, theater, music and more. The second exhibit commemorates Valentine's Day by highlighting the comics in our collection about love and romance.
We have a couple of new book displays available for your perusal on the second floor of the Duderstadt Center in the lobby.
Since November is Native American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month, we thought we'd take the opportunity to highlight some of the art and architecture resources in our collection related to these cultures.
Welcome back, students! To (re)accliminate you with the local area, we've set aside a few books and other resources about Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan, and the surrounding area. Enjoy!
To help celebrate the Summer Olympic games, we've picked out several books and other resources related to a variety of sports. Some themes include Olympic architecture, sports design, and a variety of comics relating to sports.
With all the summer camps on campus and the kids walking around campus while playing Pokémon Go, we thought now would be a good time to highlight some of the comics in our collections that relate to kids.
We have a new book display called "The Heat Is On," which highlights books that focus on Summer, the sun, and heat (appropriate considering the weather we've been having, no?)
Books included cover everything from using sunlight in architecture to books giving introductions to the fundamentals of heat transfer. You can check out the display on the 2nd floor of the Duderstadt Center. Enjoy!
