New Course Reserves Form

We're excited to announce a new way to submit course reserve requests to the U-M Library! In the past, different library reserves locations have used different ways to accept requests from course instructors. These different approaches made our service confusing, especially to new faculty not familiar with course reserves at U-M. For this reason, all reserves locations will now be using the same request form.

With our new form course instructors can:

  • Use the form with a umich login (no need to add proxies or ask for permission)

  • Search and add items to your list by ISBN

  • Add items to your list that you have already listed in Wolverine Access

  • Let us know when any edition of a text works for your course

  • Indicate whether an e-book edition works for your course

  • See the status of your request

  • Receive an email notification after your request was submitted that includes your list of requested items.

Reserves staff are happy to walk through the system with you to show you how it can meet your needs. If you would like assistance or have any questions about the new form, please contact the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library Reserves staff by emailing or calling (734) 647-5747, or you can visit the 2nd floor Service Desk and ask staff for help.

Please note that the old form is no longer available, so be sure to update any bookmarks to use the new form’s URL.
