Newly featured on the Islamic Manuscript Studies research guide --- a selection of resources for the study of watermarks, especially useful for Islamic manuscript cultural contexts. A selection of these resources was first published 5 September 2012 on a retired blog platform and subsequently enhanced and updated.
We are very pleased to announce that the video of the Webinar on book history in the Philippines (1850-1950) that we hosted last October is now widely available.
The First World War Centenary is being observed from 2014 to 2018. An immense archive associated with the Great War is online, and we will periodically highlight some of the visual resources. Any researcher will be well-rewarded by a visit to the websites of the national libraries of the various combatant nations, most of which have digitized holdings related to the war.
