Historian Catherine Fletcher tells the fascinating story of Alessandro de' Medici, the first Duke of Florence and arguably the first person of African descent to rule a European state.
We have two new book displays in the 2nd floor lobby area of the Duderstadt Center. The first exhibit commemorates Black History Month, which is being celebrated all over campus this month. It showcases moments related to African American art, theater, music and more. The second exhibit commemorates Valentine's Day by highlighting the comics in our collection about love and romance.
