The idea of this Tumblr is to encourage students to experience the joys of seeing actual, physical books in the library. Another Olympics games means a new installment of the National Science Foundation's "Science of Sports" series: Science and Engineering of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games! Each of the ten episodes presents Olympic athletes and the science and engineering concepts that underlie their performance. It's a great way to learn more about top NSF-supported research and the real-life applications.
