Crafted entirely out of decommissioned weapons from the Cambodian Ccivil Wwar and genocide, Ouk Chim Vichet’s Apsara Warrior draws upon the tradition of the Apsara, a female figure in traditional Cambodian dance who mediates between the mundane and the celestial, to create a powerful anti-war figure.
